Star Genius Challenge was first introduced in 2017, welcoming participants from all Trust schools to send their best students in gr 5,6and 7 as a team to represent their school, to compete against each other. All schools send their questions in English, natural science, maths and general knowledge. All questions are then compiled and sent to contestants to study. In the first round learners will be familiar with these questions, in second round questions are unseen. Rounds are completed until we get a winner with highest score.

The Genius Challenge is hosted by Star Pretoria.

This year, Star Colleges and Nizamiye schools will invite other sister schools to the competition aswell.
